Closing CWMP and port 4567
Frontier/Verizon keeps 4567 open. They can do a lot of stuff through it To close it:
- In the console advanced/local administration enable local access
- get over the telnet local admin adn change enabled for cwsp to false
telnet ip.ip.ip.ip 4567
- Wireless Broadband Router> conf print /cwmp
set enabled to 0
now you might still have the port forward for 4567 but fret not, there is nothing listening on that port anymore
test by browsing to the url in
conf print /cwmp/attribute/InternetGatewayDevice/ManagementServer/ConnectionRequestURL
